Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating support across Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedic, GYN, General Surgery, and Davinci Robotics cases
Collaborate closely with surgeons and the OR team to ensure seamless procedures
Float to Pre/Post op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed to support patient care
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and fingernail policy
Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to foster a culture of continuous learning
Adapt quickly to varied daily surgical schedules with flexibility and professionalism

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong experience in multiple surgical service lines including Neuro
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment without specialized teams
Willingness to complete a pass/fail open-book exam during orientation
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Ability to circulate all service lines including Davinci Robotics
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to float to Pre/Post op, PACU, and ER trauma
Commitment to patient safety and infection control standards
