Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour AM/PM shifts with every other weekend requirement and 2 twelve-hour call shifts every 4 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Circulate and scrub in the OR for cesarean sections when needed
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, LR, Fentanyl, and Labetalol
Monitor fetal strips and respond quickly to obstetrical emergencies
Collaborate with OB techs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe deliveries

Qualifications

Active RN license (Oregon license not required at time of submittal - 90-day emergency license available)
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience circulating and/or scrubbing in the OR for cesarean sections
Comfortable titrating drips and reading fetal monitoring strips

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
Ability to handle obstetrical emergencies such as hypertension and hemorrhage
Familiarity with GE Centricity EFM system
Skilled in telemetry monitoring and fetal strip interpretation
