Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced technology
Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes to local nursing staff promptly
Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
Collaborate with the care team in a centralized virtual hospital setting
Accurately document and communicate rhythm changes per regulatory standards

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring
Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (lethal rhythms are pass/fail, one attempt only)
Strong candidates may have the 3-month education requirement waived

Knowledge & Skills

Remote Cardiac Monitoring expertise
Arrhythmia Detection and EKG Interpretation
Cardiac Rhythm Recognition
Strong communication and protocol adherence
Ability to work independently in a virtual command center environment
