Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and telemetry patients on a 32-bed unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs using Phillips telemetry equipment
Administer chemotherapy treatments and manage complex medication regimens
Collaborate with the charge nurse and oncology resource RN to deliver coordinated care
Float to other MedSurg/Telemetry units as needed to support hospital-wide staffing
Maintain sterile technique during Foley catheter insertions and central line dressing changes
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and recovery expectations

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Chemo certification preferred
Cerner EMR experience
Ability to pass a pre-employment dysrhythmia exam
Clean driving record within a 50-mile radius of Phoenix

Knowledge & Skills

Strong oncology and telemetry nursing knowledge
Comfortable managing vents such as BiPAP and CPAP
Skilled in sterile procedures and infection control
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible and adaptable to floating between units
