Location: Phoenix, Arizona

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM; 4 weekend shifts required in an 8-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to a neuro-focused patient population
Partner closely with patients and families to support recovery and education
Administer IV therapy, manage wounds, and perform essential acute MedSurg interventions
Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team of therapists and physicians
Float to other MedSurg units as needed to support hospital-wide care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS certification required
Strong MedSurg experience required; Rehab experience preferred
Must have Level 1 Trauma experience
Comfortable with high-level patient and family communication

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Neuro rehab patient care including TBI, CVA, and post-transplant recovery
Sterile field technique and central line dressing changes
Foley catheter insertion
Wound care and restraint protocols
