Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care overnight to patients within the MST specialty
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Document patient status and interventions clearly in the medical record
• Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate concerns when needed
• Support patients and families with clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (California preferred)
• Experience or training in MST (Military Sexual Trauma) care or related behavioral health experience
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or as required by unit
• Comfort working overnight shifts and providing patient-centered care
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical-thinking skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy fundamentals
• Trauma-informed care principles, especially relating to MST
• Effective communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
• Ability to prioritize and manage care during busy night shifts
