Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in a med/surg setting
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient conditions
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate electronic health records and document care provided
Ensure a safe and healing environment for children and their families

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
Previous pediatric or med/surg experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of pediatric growth and development
Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively
