Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a medical observation unit
• Conduct thorough assessments, monitoring vital signs and patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Document all care accurately and timely in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact state
• Minimum of 1 year recent acute care experience preferred
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification highly desirable
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in EHR systems and documentation
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic setting
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
