Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem
Location: Camden, ME
Start Date: 08-15-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Saturday, August 15, 2026, Day shift, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (30-minute meal break)
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to residents at Windward Gardens
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, with attention to safety
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to care
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and adjust care plans
- Educate residents and families on health maintenance and post-care instructions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of Maine (or compact eligibility if applicable)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Completed COVID-19 vaccination series or documented medical/religious exemption
- Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and dosage calculation
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
