Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to residents at Windward Gardens
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, with attention to safety
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to care
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate residents and families on health maintenance and post-care instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of Maine (or compact eligibility if applicable)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination series or documented medical/religious exemption
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and dosage calculation
• Patient assessment and care planning
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
