Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, including every other weekend (EOW)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
  • Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, and other health indicators accurately
  • Collaborate with nurses and the care team to implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Respond promptly to call lights and assist with mobility and transfers
  • Support residents' emotional well-being and encourage independence

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in West Virginia
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including every other weekend
  • COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption per facility policy
  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, families, and team members
  • Ability to document care accurately and follow care plans
  • Physical stamina to stand, lift, and assist residents with mobility
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care
