Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to patients including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutrition tracking to promote patient well-being
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comforting environment for residents
• Work collaboratively with nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients during their recovery journey

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
• Current BLS (CPR) certification
• Compassionate and patient-centered with strong communication skills
• Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and assisting patients
• Prior experience in rehabilitation or long-term care is a plus, but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of patient care principles and safety protocols
• Skilled in documenting patient information and vitals accurately
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with patients and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs
