Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor vital signs and residents' conditions, documenting changes accurately
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans
• Provide support and education to residents and their families
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Current active RN or LPN license in Maine
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical or religious exemption
• Must bring a state or federal issued photo ID and wear a facility badge at all times
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• BLS/CPR certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to document care accurately and thoroughly
• Compassion and patience when working with elderly residents
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
