Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: August 15, 2026, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document care plans
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly communicate changes to the healthcare team
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and health management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maine, or compact privilege where applicable
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting is a big plus
- COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption, as required
- Ability to pass background checks and facility onboarding requirements
- A genuine passion for caring for older adults
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of nursing principles and best practices
- Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Comfort with electronic health records and clinical documentation
- Strong critical thinking and the ability to respond quickly in changing situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A warm, empathetic approach that puts residents at ease
