Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to women in labor and delivery
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals using electronic fetal monitoring and Doppler
• Administer medications such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate as ordered
• Assist with C-sections and provide surgical support
• Support patients and families through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital L&D experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• AWHONN or NCC-EFM certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) proficiency
• Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate administration
• Doppler and Novii fetal monitoring
• C-section and surgical support
• Precepting and mentoring new staff
• Meditech EMR experience (preferred)
