Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM; call rotation includes one night per week and every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $91 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform pre-procedure assessments including vital signs, allergies, labs, and history
Educate patients and obtain informed consent
Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient response
Maintain sterile field and assist with catheter insertion
Monitor cardiac rhythm, hemodynamics, and patient status throughout procedures
Provide recovery care, monitor for complications, and assess access sites
Reinforce post-op instructions and coordinate discharge planning
Chart assessments, medications, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR
Respond to code situations using ACLS protocols
Coordinate with cardiologists, techs, anesthesia, and support staff for optimal patient care

Qualifications

2+ years of EP Lab or Cath Lab experience
Comfortable with critically ill patients
Experience with peripheral and coronary circulation
Merge Hemo experience is a plus
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Active RN license in California or compact state
