Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to emergency patients with a sense of urgency
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Triage patients efficiently and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in EHR
• Advocate for patients and families during critical moments

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Louisiana
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
• Proficiency with electronic health records
