Shift Type: Flexible 12-hour shifts, days and nights available, including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to emergency patients
Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for optimal outcomes
Monitor and document patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of emergency nursing experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency nursing protocols and procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficient in EHR systems and medical equipment
Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills
Patient-centered approach with a focus on safety
