Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with on-call requirements of one night per week and every other Sunday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a dialysis setting
Perform AVF/AVG cannulation, CVC access, and hemodialysis complications management
Conduct peritoneal dialysis site care, catheter care, initiation, and termination
Titrate heparin drips as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications

Current RN licensure
1 year of experience in acute care dialysis nursing
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Peritoneal dialysis experience with competency in hookup and disconnect
Experience with Baxter Home Choice machines

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Dialysis nursing competencies
Hemodialysis complications management
Peritoneal dialysis site care and catheter care
AVF/AVG cannulation and CVC access
Heparin drip titration
