Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, with weekend rotation (3 of 4 weekends) and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for a 24-bed cardiac telemetry unit
Administer medications and manage non-titrating IV drips
Provide stepdown care for patients with cardiac conditions, lung transplants, and more
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including respiratory therapy and pharmacy
Float to other telemetry units as needed
Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes (SIMs Lab required)

Qualifications

Must have Level 1 Trauma experience
Active RN license (willing to wait for license)
Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications
Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Own vehicle required for travel teams

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation
Experience with Cerner EMR
Knowledge of Philips monitors
Understanding of sterile field technique for central line and foley procedures
Comfortable with CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy
