Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams with a compassionate approach to patient care
• Position patients and equipment accurately to capture clear, diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection protocols and verifying patient identity
• Maintain imaging equipment, report malfunctions, and keep exam rooms clean and stocked
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to support timely diagnoses
• Participate in orientation and training to uphold facility standards and best practices

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification (or equivalent) in radiography preferred
• State radiologic technologist license for Missouri (or eligibility to obtain one)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working with diverse patient populations and adapting to different clinical needs
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively
• Willingness to complete required orientation and facility-specific training

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (or equivalent training and certification)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with radiation safety and infection control procedures
• Basic knowledge of PACS and electronic medical record documentation
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot common radiology equipment
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams
