Roles & Responsibilities

Operate radiology imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
Prepare and position patients with care and clear communication to ensure comfort and safety
Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain strict adherence to facility policies
Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and clinical staff to support patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and properly label and route imaging studies
Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues to ensure uptime
Participate in orientation and training to maintain skills and facility standards

Qualifications

Certification from a recognized radiologic technologist program (ARRT certification preferred or registry-eligible)
State licensure as required for Missouri practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain it
Strong patient-centered communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working with digital imaging systems and electronic health records

Education

Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (or equivalent certification)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in radiographic positioning and image acquisition
Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control practices
Familiarity with PACS and common radiology imaging workflows
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Detail-oriented approach to documentation and image labeling
