Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams with professionalism and attention to detail
• Conduct Separation Health Assessments and one-time non-treatment evaluations
• Lead interview-based clinical exams that gather clear, relevant history from Veterans
• Perform focused physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Document findings thoroughly and produce clear, timely medical reports and addendums
• Complete required training and credentialing to meet VES standards
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure timely submission of reports and any follow-up documentation

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) preferred
• Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine; experience with C&P exams is a strong plus
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state where you will practice (state licensure required)
• Willingness to perform non-treatment exams (no prescribing or ongoing treatment)
• Ability to complete VES-required training and onboarding prior to performing exams
• If applying for the provider-owned office option: access to a private office within 50 miles of the listed city
