Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and supportive care treatments safely and according to protocol, monitoring patients closely for reactions and effectiveness
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition to guide timely clinical decisions
• Utilize the acuity scale to prioritize patient needs and support appropriate staffing
• Coordinate and collaborate with oncology providers to implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide clear patient and family education about treatments, side effect management, and self-care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively across the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• BLS certification — REQUIRED and must be current
• ONS or ANCC oncology certification — preferred
• Experience administering chemotherapy and providing supportive oncology care
• Comfort using an acuity scale for staffing and prioritizing care
• Proven ability to collaborate closely with oncology providers and the broader care team
• Willingness to meet Regional West performance expectations for travel assignments
