Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions based on each patient's OT plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home care routines
• Communicate patient status and progress clearly to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a secure environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain one)
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Ability to document effectively and educate patients

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy interventions and rehabilitation techniques
• Skilled in patient documentation and progress tracking
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Teamwork and collaboration in a healthcare setting
• Understanding of safety, infection control, and compliance standards
