Occupational Therapy Assistant - Travel
Location: Rockville, Maryland
Start Date: 08-05-2026
End Date: 11-04-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions based on each patient's OT plan of care
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home care routines
- Communicate patient status and progress clearly to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a secure environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
- Ability to document effectively and educate patients
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy interventions and rehabilitation techniques
- Skilled in patient documentation and progress tracking
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Teamwork and collaboration in a healthcare setting
- Understanding of safety, infection control, and compliance standards
