Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to keep smiles healthy
• Educate patients on best practices for oral hygiene and preventive care
• Document patient dental histories and current oral health status
• Administer fluoride treatments and sealants as needed
• Assist the dentist with procedures and support patient care
• Maintain a sterile, organized operatory while following safety protocols
• Collaborate with a dedicated assistant to provide a seamless patient experience
• Deliver warm, compassionate care that puts patients at ease

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program (or equivalent)
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Prior experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of dental anatomy and hygiene techniques
• Proficiency with dental instruments and equipment
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Ability to educate and motivate patients on oral health
• Detail-oriented with a gentle, caring chairside manner
