Shift Type: Monday-Friday, DAYS shift (school hours)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help students achieve their educational goals
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students needs
Provide direct therapy services in fine motor, sensory integration, and self-care skills
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist license in Alaska (must be currently active)
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
School-based experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented school environment

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of pediatric development and school-based therapy practices
Skills in assessment, evaluation, and IEP development
Ability to adapt therapy activities to individual student needs
Familiarity with sensory integration and fine motor interventions
