Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a skilled nursing setting
  • Administer medications, treatments, and document care accurately
  • Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the care team
  • Collaborate with nurses, aides, and providers to ensure quality outcomes
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
  • Provide support and education to residents and their families
  • Follow care plans and regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics preferred
  • Must bring a government-issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
  • Pass background check and facility onboarding requirements

Knowledge & Skills

  • Medication administration and dosage calculation
  • Resident assessment and care planning
  • Electronic health records (EHR) charting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to respond calmly in emergencies
  • Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
