Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (including 30-minute meal break), schedule may include weekends and holidays, 36 hours per week guaranteed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including medication administration and treatments
Monitor patient vital signs and condition changes, reporting to RNs and physicians
Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge plans

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maine
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
At least 6 months of recent LPN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption per facility requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in electronic health record documentation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
