Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, ensuring comfort and dignity
• Collaborate with nurses and aides to maintain a safe and healing environment
• Document patient care accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• At least 1 year of LPN experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Medication administration and dosage calculation
• Wound care and infection control practices
• Electronic health records (EHR) proficiency
• Empathy and active listening
