Geriatric Nursing Assistant
Location: Waldorf, Maryland
Start Date: 07-07-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Evening shifts available (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM). Flexible scheduling based on facility needs.
Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to geriatric residents
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and document vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Promote resident independence and dignity in a safe environment
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality care
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and transfer residents safely
- Basic computer skills for documentation
