Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening shift), various days as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to geriatric residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning for comfort and safety
Support residents' emotional and social well-being through meaningful interactions
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents

Qualifications

Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine or present a documented religious and/or medical exemption
Valid state or federal issued identification and ability to wear a photo badge at all times
Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care techniques for geriatric population
Infection control and safety protocols
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
