Shift Type: 36 hours per week, every other weekend; specific shift times to be discussed

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment
Assess, triage, and treat conditions ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform advanced procedures as ordered
Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in Connecticut required
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience, preferably in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency nursing and trauma care
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
Ability to thrive in high-stress, fast-paced environments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
