Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and dental hygiene services
• Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis for pediatric patients
• Take and develop dental x-rays with attention to safety
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and preventative care
• Assist the dentist during procedures and chart treatment
• Maintain a sterile, organized, and welcoming environment
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and infection control practices
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
