Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive care for patients
• Take high-quality dental X-rays for accurate diagnosis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and at-home care
• Assist the dentist during procedures for a seamless patient experience
• Document treatments and maintain precise patient records
• Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Clinical experience in dental hygiene and patient care
• Excellent communication skills with a warm, professional demeanor
• Proficiency with dental software and radiography equipment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Skilled in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
• Strong understanding of infection control standards
• Ability to educate and motivate patients on oral health
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
