Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for young patients
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
• Take and process dental X-rays accurately and efficiently
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain patient records and manage appointment flow with care
• Support the dental team in delivering exceptional pediatric care with enthusiasm

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a big plus
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with children and parents
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Dental X-ray certification or willingness to obtain

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment
• Proficiency with dental software and patient record keeping
• Strong chairside manner and patient-focused approach
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control protocols
• Teamwork and ability to adapt to changing needs
