Roles & Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and make them feel at ease from the moment they arrive
• Assist our orthodontist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Take and develop X-rays to help diagnose and create treatment plans
• Educate patients on proper brace care and oral hygiene
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile environment
• Update patient records and handle administrative tasks with accuracy

Qualifications

• A heart for helping others and a smile to match
• A valid dental assisting certification (CDA/RDA) is a big plus
• Current CPR certification
• X-ray licensure for the state of Maryland
• Prior experience in orthodontics is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Great communication skills and a team-player attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable using dental software like Denticon
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Understanding of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• A compassionate approach to patient care
