Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during procedures, keeping young patients calm and comfortable
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure infection control standards
• Take and process dental X-rays, maintaining accurate patient records
• Educate children and parents on oral hygiene, nutrition, and post-operative care
• Manage patient flow and coordinate appointments to keep the clinic running smoothly
• Collaborate with a caring, energetic team to deliver gentle, quality dental care

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Assistant certification or licensure in Wisconsin (as applicable)
• Radiography/X-ray certification or willingness to obtain
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Experience working with children or in a pediatric dental setting is a plus
• A compassionate, patient, and upbeat attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental instruments, procedures, and infection control
• Comfort using dental practice management software
• Clear and warm communication with children and parents
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, kid-friendly environment
