Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care with comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care techniques
• Take and interpret dental x-rays to support accurate diagnosis
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a smooth patient experience
• Maintain sterilization standards and a clean, organized workspace
• Document patient care accurately and collaborate with the dental team

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or compact eligibility if applicable)
• CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dental practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and periodontal care
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and radiography techniques
• Skilled in using dental software for patient records
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to connect with patients of all ages
• Time management and organizational skills to manage a patient schedule
