Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric patients in a fun and friendly environment
• Partner with dentists to deliver exceptional oral health care and support treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on proper brushing, flossing, and nutrition for a lifetime of healthy smiles
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working with pediatric patients preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a caring, patient-first approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Radiography (X-ray) certification and experience
• Patient education and communication
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pediatric dental office
