Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy to keep patients' smiles healthy
• Assess patients' oral health and document detailed records for the dental team
• Take and process dental X-rays to assist with accurate diagnoses
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and preventive care techniques
• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience
• Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Experience in a dental practice preferred; new grads with licensure are encouraged to apply
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring, professional demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, radiography, and periodontal care
• Proficient in taking dental impressions and using digital X-ray systems
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to infection control and safety
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment
