Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists with patient preparation and chairside support
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Update and maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Take and process dental x-rays as directed by the hygienist
• Provide exceptional patient care and ensure comfort throughout each visit

Qualifications

• Active dental assisting certification or state-specific licensure, if required
• Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to infection control standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
• Proficiency with dental software and patient management systems
• Skilled in instrument sterilization and operatory setup
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality practices
