Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain oral health
• Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
• Take and develop dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or compact license if applicable)
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience with dental software is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in dental radiography and safety protocols
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization standards
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
