Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; occasional Saturday shifts (with a weekday off) and Sunday on-call may be scheduled; some weekdays start at 8:00 AM for MDRs

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments for patients in an inpatient acute care setting
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with orthopedic, neurologic, general medicine, and surgical conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including attending daily huddles and MDRs
• Document patient progress accurately in MEDITECH
• Float to the connected outpatient clinic if inpatient census drops, as needed
• Maintain compliance with BLS and hospital policies

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient or acute care physical therapy
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedics, neurology, and general medicine/surgery
• Ability to work Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays and on-call

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of inpatient and acute care rehabilitation practices
• Proficiency with MEDITECH charting system
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and patient conditions
• Understanding of discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
