Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring accurate imaging
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Partner with dentists to create customized treatment plans
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the operatories

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with dental software and charting
• Great communication skills and a warm chairside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Knowledge of dental anatomy, radiology, and infection control
• Strong patient education and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients with efficiency
