Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional preventive and therapeutic oral hygiene care to patients
Conduct thorough oral health assessments and screenings
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain accurate patient records
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
New graduates are welcome to apply

Education

Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures including scaling, root planing, and polishing
Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records
Understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
Friendly and empathetic patient care approach
Time management and organizational skills
