Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Position and prep patients with compassion and clear communication
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate imaging
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform routine quality checks
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Document procedures and manage images in PACS and the electronic health record

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology or CT certification preferred
• Valid state radiologic technologist license as required by Florida
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT tech experience (as noted in the job posting)
• Strong patient care skills and the ability to work independently on overnight shifts

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency operating CT scanners and familiarity with cross-sectional anatomy
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
• Experience with PACS, DICOM, and electronic medical records
• Strong patient positioning and contrast administration skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for patient interactions and teamwork
