Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients with dignity and respect
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics
Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
Collaborate with nurses and the care team to ensure a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
Valid CNA certification in California or ability to obtain local credentialing
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and reliability
Previous experience as a CNA is a plus but new grads may be considered

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and hygiene practices
Vital sign measurement and documentation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection control and hand hygiene protocols
Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical team
Familiarity with electronic charting or willing to learn
