Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to support patients’ daily needs
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Document care accurately and timely to maintain continuity and safety
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (Certified Nursing Assistant)
• Valid state certification/license as required for California practice
• Willingness to work per diem shifts including the assigned date and similar as-needed opportunities
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings (TB, immunizations) per facility policy
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living and basic patient care
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
• Good verbal communication and teamwork skills
• Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
• Calm, professional demeanor in fast-paced clinical environments
