Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM, includes a 30-minute meal break
Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
- Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment following infection control protocols
- Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
- Support patients and their families with kindness, patience, and respect
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
- Must bring a state or federal issued identification to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
- Completed COVID-19 vaccine or a documented religious/medical exemption, per facility policy
- A genuine passion for helping others and providing quality care
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of basic patient care techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
- Empathy and patience when interacting with patients and families
- Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
