Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident conditions accurately and promptly
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Communicate changes in resident status to the nursing team and document observations
• Support a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and visitors
• Collaborate with team members to deliver person-centered care and uphold facility standards

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
• Ability to work overnight per diem shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused approach
• Willingness to complete facility-required orientation and health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
• Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
• Infection control and proper use of PPE
• Clear communication and teamwork within a clinical setting
• Basic charting and following care plans
